They may wanna look into getting a better o-line too. 28 rushing yards ain't gonna cut it and how many sacks did they give up ? It was a few , no wonder they can't keep a qb healthy.

Ya lucky for them though they are in the second worst division in the NFL so far this year so every team is right there together.

I wish they would give Kingsbury a chance. Even though he's only been with the team for a month I think he can help them out. I got a chance to see him play alot in college and he has a great arm and an all-around excellent passer.

well unfortunatley it's over for the jets and playoff hopes to many injuries have killed them so hopefully over the off season they can rest up and be heathly especially pennington

Why is there so much pennington hate? He's not a power thrower, he's an incredibly accurate thrower. I know injuries, but putting that aside he's a great QB. He's smart and knows where to put the ball, and is a great passer. I know Jets need a solid backup but if Chad could finally stay healthy then they'd be good. Jets last year were great, this year just a good backup went down and the good starter.. and I don't think they need a new QB because fielder will be healthy next year along with pennington so even IF he goes down they have someone else. Curtis martin is old, and he's going to retire soon.. and the jets traded lamont to raiders.. so they should look into a new RB.

Fiedler's alright but with really not having a great reciever and not a great o-line they need a better than average qb back there to make things happen which Pennington is but it's not very likely he'll stay healthy for a whole season. Curtis will have another 1,000 yard season this year and I think he's capable of putting up a few more good years if they can get help in the passing game so if they are going to pin their hope on Chad they should get another WR to go along with Coles

Good point Kujo, however Martin could just as easy get tired.. last I checked he was what? 33? 34? I haven't looked yet, and if he chooses to retire now for some unknown reason then Jets will just crumble. If they got a RB who can catch like LT, however.. it'd solve all problems.. kinda. Okay, not all, but it'd be a start. Especially if Martin starts to show his age, they'd have someone to fall back on.. and if it's a rookie it can learn off of Martin. However on the off season getting some different offensive line could help out a lot too.
