Monty Brown Backstage At RAW Last Night 10/24/2006 by Ryan Gray
source: PWInsider.com
Former TNA star Monty Brown was backstage at Raw last night in Chicago. Brown is indeed negotiating with World Wrestling Entertainment in regards to coming in.
Brown is no longer under contract to TNA due to his contract recently expiring. Also, talks in regards to signing a new deal have stalled. Brown was not booked to appear at Sunday's Bound for Glory PPV, which was in his home State of Michigan.
More On Monty Brown At RAW Last Night 10/24/2006 by Tim Brown
Thanks to Michael Heredia for sending this in:
When I left the RAW last night, I went to the parking garage to see the superstars. Out of nowhere walks out Monty Brown. No one recognized him and I just ran behind him and got his autograph. I asked him what he was doing here. He said and I quote, "You'll see in a couple of weeks." It was really amazing though how he just walked up the parking garage and no one at all recognized him as he walked all the way to the parking lot by where I parked. from what i heard this guy couldn't handle a tna schedule how's gonna handle a wwe one? maybe he'll join cryme tyme

for the love of god, noooooo!
I have nothing against the guy. He can cut a good promo, very rock-esque. He works with what he's got and I think most can agree, it isn't anything special.
But Please, please no POUNCEs in the WWE. He's the right size for what Vince believes is a wrestler. But Monty Brown has never and will never make it to where I can see him as a viable resource.
I just would hate to see him join the roster.

Dude Monty is an awesome athlete, and he has awesome mic skills. Hes the new version of the Rock, and he'll fit very well into the WWE. Also acquiring Monty will be a big blow to TNA.
Angle for Monty Brown?
Couple more years left VS. Healthy, Strong Athlete
Hm...

I'm very indifferent about the topic. I don't watch TNA. I don't really know this Monty Brown fellow.

I'm still thinking it's going to be a big blow, but the way I look at it is they never have a chance to throw him in a good match. Because I believe they are afraid to take a chance with him. I dunno just wait and see. Personally I think WWE will ruin him
