this book was simply amazing. there is so much information in there that its hard to understand it all the first time through. if you find anything about Christian Mythology, Pegan Mythology or Symbolizm interesting, this book is majorly for you. I found the writing to be excellent, the discriptions were very well done. the writing style was enjoyable, there wasnt any boring parts really. the book had some slow parts, but the conversations within those slower parts held interesting insight on the Mythologies forementioned. The mystery aspect of this makes it worth picking up by itself. I love a good mystery, and this was one of those. Great plot twists, it had turns that i didnt see coming at all. The way the clues unfolded makes the mind reel. how Dan Brown could come up with this is astonishing. i can not wait to pick up one of his other books. i would advise to read along with the Book on Tape, because with all the french nouns in there, the pronunciation can be kinda weird. and it was kinda nice to hear the pronunciation from a man who i hope knew what he was saying. lol. the movie of this is planned for Summer '06. i just hope it does the book the justice it diserves. although Tom Hanks plays Robert and Ian McKellen plays Sir Leigh Teabing, two amazing actors. i just hope the script lives up to the Star Power the movie is going to possess. i added a few links to Counting Down and IMDB about it. countingdown.com/movies/3162623www.imdb.com/title/tt0382625/
