Well, this format is obviously not quite as popular as constructed, so we shrink down to 4 people. It's all good though because with 4 we can distribute a TK, which makes me happy.
Starters:
Immortal One
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Sable
Christy
I decide to go after Sable to start. Piper is taken first for 6 cards...distributed evenly between the 3 other decks. Next to go is Sable for 8...with a deck limit I wasn't going to give up more than 8 for it so Ghetto picked it up. Next I bid 5 on Christy and got it.
Draft:
First pack is Rumble. I didn't see anything really intresting in the pack, so I draft a how many do you need. Next pick there is a Sgt. Slaughter which I scoop now contemplating whether or not to switch. Next pick, Boot Camp Match...Yeah Slaughter is looking good. Next pick, At Ten Hut...ghetto is a stupid fool I now start drafting for Sgt. Slaughter. For some reason someone passed a TB Boston Crab around for a while so I snagged that. That was all I really needed.
In deck construction I took out christy/diva cards and replaced them with more slaughter style cards and off I went.
One person dropped because of time constraints...took like 45 minutes just to draft. So I got to play everyone that remained best 2-3.
Ghetto - Sable
No chance. With Boot Camp I was safe from her ability and I just smoked him.
2-0
Ray - Piper
Game 1 = Smash
Game 2 = He managed to get 3 reversals in hand to start, and that's all he needed. My hand sucked hardcore and I forgot to use Boot Camp to manipulate his ringside.
Game 3 = Close, but in the end I smashed him.
4-1
Yay...I get 2 x times the amount of prize cards.
It was pretty fun.
