Once during each of your turns, you may discard 1 card and then search your Arsenal for 1 non-unique card with the word "spear" or "jackhammer" in the title, reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, and shuffle your Arsenal. Your cards titled Spear and Jackhammer are F:0 and +3D.

1. Goldberg would have to use his ability twice to reverse a multi, correct?
2. I'm confused as to how Take Your Own Medicine work interacts with his ability.

Can only be reversed by non-hybrid or unique Reversal cards.

Can he not discard to reverse it because his ability is not a "card"?
Because his ability surely is not a "hybrid" ability.

1) i don't think so i think it's any non-unique maneuver, if it's multi dosen't matter. and
2) He can reverse it as it's not a unique maneuver.
At least thats how i see it.

Goldberg's ability is something like Anything and Hate It. so yes, he must use his ability twice to reverse a multi.

as for Take Your Own Medicine, Goldberg's ability will not be able to reverse it as it does not fit the condition in the card. however, Managed By Jimmy Hart will be able to reverse it as it's a Unique card.

well actually, I know this may be wrong, but isnt the face card unique? and you are technically reading the unique ability so, I would say it would work

all superstar face card are not considered cards in gameplay before they introduced the Backstage Area.

ALL SUPERSTARS

-Goldberg has to discard 3 cards from hand in order to use his reversal ability. You can’t use his Superstar Ability with 2 or less cards in hand.
-He cannot reverse a Maneuver that is irreversible via his Superstar Ability, unless using an outside effect such as Beating the Odds.
-Goldberg cannot reverse cards with “Can only be reversed by” card-specific restrictions such as those found on Clutch Onto Opponent or Poke.-He ignores Fortitude requirements when using his reversal ability.

so Goldberg will not be able to reverse Take Your Own Medicine.
