i left playing the game around the insurrection expansion.. so the rest after that i have no idea how to play... for example i see there are hold, throw and assault.. it actually refers to strike, grapple and submission right? so can i use escape move, step aside and break the hold to counter that? or is there a newer reversals for such cards?? does this also applies to antics which is also like actions right?? plus i would like to know about follow-up. don't really understand what it means?? the mean, core and colossal part.... do they have a specified reversals for such cards or can it still be reverse by manager interferes or cards that reverse hold, throw, assault? i've seen some topics saying AA, AB and Revolution... can i mix those cards in a deck?? and Whats the difference??? BLURRRRR. please help i'm confuse? ??

BLURRRRR. please help i'm confuse? ?? no. steps, escapes, etc. would not work on the assaults and so on. they WERE the new maneuver types in Revo. reversals to them came out in revo. however, cards such as elbow and clumsy work on them as long as the maneuvers meet the requirements of the reversal. same goes for antics. they are not actions. there are cards out there that can reverse any card (ex: sloppy) but other than that cannot be reversed by cards that reverse actions. follow ups are easy to understand. if it says "follow up: card" it can be played after any card. if it is "follow up: maneuver" it has to be played after a maneuver, then so on and so forth. the core/mean/colossal part just describes the maneuver type. any maneuver (if its REVO) that does 7 or less damage is core, 8 to (i think) 14 damage is mean and anything 15 and above is colossal. manager can reverse these. there are reversals for such cards but can only be found in Revo.
