They are not hard to setup at all. As for money if you use paypal then you can have the money go to your paypal account and stay there until you use it or have it deposited to your bank account.

usually it's a 3-4 business day for a paypal to bank transfer...only thing about ebay is their fees. Listing fees and when you sell they get some of that too. But, it's still good I think. Just read up on it DDP, it's fairly easy to set up and paypal is easy to do too.

Basically with Ebay. You've gotta have a Credit/Debit Card so they can take the Selling fees from your Card. And Paypal all you need is a checking account. Well you'll need your check book also for the routing number. Then you can use it. But to verify it you must let paypal deposit like 2 seperate deposits into your bank account and confirm it with them. Very easy. Just a hint. If you're gonna be selling quite a bit. Make sure you make some stupid auctions like (I.E. 5 Rares for like $5) or soemthing to cover the fees. Cause you'll have to pay them back. So You've gotta be smart to make a better profit. And when you're listing auctions make them cheaper with no Buy It Now Price or Reserve (unless it's a very good auction) so it won't cost you more than .35 cents to put something on there. And look for their specials they have occassionally.
