Hey folks, new to the board and new to RAW DEAL. Look's like a fun game, I've read the rules booklet and the mechanics seem very sound. Can't wait to start playing.
I am concerned, however, that cards in stores are not as easy to find as I thought they'd be. I've been to a few game stores in my area and have yet to see any great selection to choose from. None of the stores even carried Survivor Series 3 cards!
I understand that Raw Deal was once very popular. What happened??

Some stores see Raw Deal as another CCG that takes up valueable shelf space in lieu of more popular CCGs (Such as Magic, & Yu-Gi-Oh), therefore they don't carry the game (and have not in a long time).
Also if your local store does not carry said product, you could ask to special order it, or order it online. Normally online prices will be cheaper, but maybe your local store can get you a good deal.
As far as the next set Revolution is concerned, people are really not into the whole "let's totally change the game" bit. I think this may be a one time thing, and hopefully in the Spring, we will see Raw Deal back to it's normal self. With characters such as Jeff Hardy, Chris Masters, Umaga, etc. Therefore we won't have to wait arround while they do "Revolution" versions of Shawn Micheals, Booker T, Kennedy, and all the rest that are still active.

I live just a few miles from Dark Tower Games in New Jersey. If you see on the main Raw Deal screen when you visit the comic images website, the owner of Dark Tower Games said that next Saturday Baron will be at the store. I was there yesterday to ask some questions because I do not want to invest any time or money into a game that will disappear soon. It would seem at this time that everyone involved has a "wait and see" philosophy. I did, however, see a few people at the store who said they would give Raw Deal's Revolution a fair look before they decided what they would do.
