for the last week i have been losing my mind cause of work and how lazy people are there. so you all know i work at a pizza place, a busy pizza place and we have Drivers, Insiders, phone ladies, and Me the Expidator(or as i like to call the being everyone's else's b%tch).
the drivers drive and help wash trays and sometimes fold boxes.
The insiders make pizza's, wings, pizza rolls, cut the pizza and route the drivers.
The Phone ladies answer the phones, fold boxes(sometimes), try to help do other stuff.
the Expidator(me) first off i was hired to just get a few things for the insiders, wash trays and fold boxes that was it but now i am in charge of the Soda, i fold boxes, get trays, sauce, cheese, wings for the insiders, also have to answer the phones, help carryout, hang tags, wash the windows, refill the little sauce and ranch for the wings and cheesebreads. prep wings, make the wings to put in the oven, tear down all the boxes that need to go out that i do. errrrr i do almost everything.
the only thing why i say it now was the last two days we were slammed full of orders and people calling and no one botherd to folded boxes, so i had to do fold all the boxes that night.
anyone else have this people with there job or anythign similar to it.
ahaaaaaahhahahahhhahahahaha, i hate it so much.

That is why I work the way I do.
I've had me many of jobs. As each job progressed, I matured and my way of dealing and thinking about things evolved with my maturity. When I was working at our movie theatre, I had the mentality of my "no saying no" policy. Which meant I would not reject any hours asked upon me. All I asked in return was one day...one day of the entire month...which I want the day off. One lousy Saturday. Why? Tournament. My method had made me a key player at the theatre. I started to work at Arby's part time (2 hours a day, before I worked at the theatre) and I ended up quitting the theatre. Why? First off, RTM/Arby's know how to run a fucking business. Second, when I quit the theatre, my "no saying no" policy went into effect at Arby's. Since then, I've had a raise (another one soon to follow) and I am now working 30 hours a week (which was what I was doing in 2 weeks at the theatre - long story). Basicially, if you can show the higher-ups that you can do what you were asked...and don't fuss (unless it's up there with cruelty...I can vouch for that)...that should earn the respect of your peers and your employers equally...something I can, again, vouch for.

My silent agreement with them, more or less. While not refusing to do what they ask, they are more open to you and your wants. When it comes to having the Saturday off, it also helps that our store manager is the fiance to our tournament organizer. So it works out. As for benefits...for example...if I am late to work...they'll let it slide. Call it extra privledges if you will. But, I don't exploit these "extra privledges".
