Well on this mourning I was extremly tired, I've been going to bed around 2 and 3am, and getting up at 7am. So my body is totally running on caffine *Thank god for Mountain Dew* I arrived at the usual time to set up for the tourny since our manager never shows up anymore. We did not get alot of people to play for the box that we had figured would go. So we played for Rumble packs and SS3 boosters. Here is the breakdown.
Trevor *Me* Rey-Rey
Chris X-pac *This is my uber t3ch X design, I do not go into detail with the match that way I will not unvail the secret t3ch*
Jesse Tazz
Justin Eugene
Taylor Jericho
Michael HHH
Kirk Matt Hardy
Bobby BFM
Eric Mankind
Joey Edge
We played 4 rounds of Swiss cutting to a top 4, smackdown construction.
Round 1
Rey Rey Vs Michael
I expected to see a chain HHH, the feud makes that build almost an automatic to spot. I was correct. He drops my hand, which does slow me down but not as bad as I had thought. MY Rey design is a blindside rey, I showtime to go first. I get the 8f from the choke. I pass. He draws, decides on what to throw, im thinking that it might be panic grab wraparound or panic rest-hold. He then threw a panic wraparound, I hit him with strangle hold and an elbow. I then throw Suicide strike, if this hits I can safely say that I have won the match. It got to 16 before the flip of 2 step asides. It was a major relief for me. He tries with panic/shoot headlock, I quickly manager interferes and outside interference. West Coast Pop, it goes all the way threw, into the 619 for the victory.
Round 2
Rey Rey Vs Matt
Kirk is a fairly predicitable player, almost every deck he plays he always runs My Sacrifice, which is his downfall because he cannot stand a break you. Well I do just that, I drop break you during my 5th slot. So much thinking done right here for Kirk. I think I clocked him at 4 minutes before he decided what he really needed at what not. During that time I went and bought some Dew from The shop owner. He dropped all 7, let me say that I could have not been any happier. I break his 0's from his hand. Big trouble for Kirk. I hit off the usual Choke for 8, into Bronco Buster which is stopped on 6, 2 stun. He draws, he passes. Suicide Strike, he plays one step aside and flips the other on 8. Still no 0's for Kirk, he passes. Blindside slam, he plays escape move. I do the ability, blindside slam, it get's reversed on 9. Draw/Pass for Kirk again. I'm making this up as I go along. reversed on 14, stun. Quick Snap bodyslam, I throw a manager at that. West Coast Pop!!!! For the Pin
Round 3
Rey Rey Vs Eugene
Justin is not fun to play, he cheats all the time. Stacking the deck, drawing 4 cards at the draw step. All that Jazz. I watch him stack his deck. I call him on it. He says that I cought him. Pin
Let me just take the time to remind people not to cheat. If you do you will get caught.
Round 4
Rey Rey Vs BFM
Bobby also seems to play alot of Pre-match...similar to Kirk. I break him for 2 as well. No 0's for him. The game is very boring. I throw a move every turn, he Draws & Passes. I really did not feel the need to explain the draw/pass thing, that's why this one is short.
At this point in the tourny
Trevor (4-0)
Chris (4-0)
Bobby (3-1)
Taylor (3-1)
Semi-Finals
Rey-Rey Vs Jericho
He was a heat deck. As most heat decks are they are all pretty much the same concept. I knew what to do. I plow threw alot of reversals. The choke goes threw, Blindside kick, backlash from taylor. Ability, Blindside Kick, Headstrong. From there I reverse alot of the same move, Lariet. Suicide Strike goes all the way, into the Pop. Which goes all the way threw. His turn he makes me discard 1, lariet, Backslide for the Pin
Rey-Rey Vs X-Pac
I was so happy to see both of my decks final. I knew how to beat my deck, and I did just that. I pin him with 619 after the Pop. I do not want to use details because that would reveal my X-Pac t3ch. Sorry to you folks at there
The Top 4
Trevor (6-0)
Chris (5-1)
Taylor (4-2)
Bobby (3-3)
I got 6 packs and 2 rumbles for 1st. I pull a hot pack. Nothing really good though. I was happy to see my decks do well than to get the Hot pack. All in a days work for me.
